“Living in the basement suite was an extremely negative experience. The unit was poorly maintained, uncomfortable, and came with ongoing issues that were never properly addressed. To make matters worse, I later discovered that the person renting the suite to my roommate and me did not actually own the property and was allegedly subletting it without authorization. This created significant stress and uncertainty about our housing situation. Communication was often difficult, concerns went unresolved, and the entire arrangement felt misleading and unprofessional. What should have been a safe and stable place to live instead became a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.”
