Review Guidelines
Write like you’re helping the next renter, not attacking someone.
What to do:
- Share your real experience
- Be specific
- Include both positives and negatives when possible
How to phrase things:
Instead of:
“This landlord is a thief”
Say:
“I did not receive my deposit back after moving out.”
Instead of:
“This building is unsafe”
Say:
“I felt unsafe because of my specific experience.”
Instead of:
“Management is terrible”
Say:
“Management took over 3 weeks to respond to maintenance issues.”
What not to post:
- Personal attacks
- Private contact information
- Claims presented as proven facts without context
- Anything unrelated to the rental experience
Be real. Be fair. Be helpful.
